In 2004, Belden merged with Cable Design Technologies Corp. and today specializes in signal transmission solutions, cables, connectivity, and networking products. They deliver signal transmission solutions for entertainment, residential, industrial, and security markets.

The company owns several renowned global brands, such as GarrettCom - industrial Ethernet LAN products - Ethernet switches, hubs, media converters, repeaters, and transceivers; Hirschmann - industrial networking; Lumberg Automation - intelligent wiring solutions; Tofino Security - industrial Network security products; Grass Valley.

The company offers an extensive assortment of different products and solutions from categories such as electrical connectors, rectangular junctions, round junctions with choke for the cable, or for panel assembly. They also deliver signal transmission solutions, including data cables, connectors, I/O modules, and network equipment, fiber optic Fieldbus repeaters/modems, and mobile machine control solutions.
