Serie 981 - Universal-Druckmessumformer für niedrige Druckbereiche

Series 981 - Universal pressure transmitter for low pressure ranges

A wide range of applications of our pressure transmitters

Analog pressure transmitters can be used in a variety of applications. However, the mounting location is determined by the maximum size and material selection for the diaphragm and housing. It is therefore the ideal solution when analog pressure transmitters adapt individually to their application. For this reason, we have expanded our wide range of compact pressure transmitters with the 981 analog pressure transmitter. As a user, you can benefit from many years of experience with various materials and their use in a wide variety of media. Tried and tested diaphragms and a huge selection of flange and socket bolts made of a wide variety of different materials are available for a wide variety of applications.

Compactness of our products

Measuring just 45mm in diameter and 59mm in height (including 15mm connecting piece), the sensor is very compact and can be easily integrated anywhere. Thanks to a wide range of mounting brackets, it can also be quickly installed in a non-standard mounting position.

Wide measuring range

The pressure transmitter has a selectable measuring range from 0 to 300 mbar or -100 to 0 mbar with a linearity of less than + -1% at overpressure and + -2% at a vacuum FSO BFSL @ 20 ° C. This measuring range is customer required and is individually set upon delivery, allowing the immediate installation of the pressure sensor to the customer's end use.

Supply voltage 24 VDC at current consumption < 20 mA as well as the output signal (load min. 10 kOhm) are transmitted via a standard 4-pin M12 flange plug (other plug versions available on request). The response time is 500 ms. The sensor can provide either a 3-wire 0-10 VDC output signal or a 2-wire 4-20 mA output signal. Various diaphragms are available for monitoring the overpressure and underpressure of liquid, gaseous and aggressive media in the range -20 to + 85 ° C.

Membrane materials available

  • NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber)
  • food grade silicone
  • fluorocarbon rubber (FKM)
  • ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) for aggressive media

For pressure connections, users can choose between metals such as:

  • Brass
  • Nickel-plated brass
  • stainless steel

However, in the case of plastics:

  • Polyamide (PA)
  • Polyvinyl fluoride (PVDF)
  • Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)
