Antistatic waste bag

For use in hazardous areas according to DIN EN 60079-14

General Information
The waste bags from WeSiTec are needed where waste that contains combustible materials are disposed. These includes, for example, solvent-containing cleaning rags or empty containers with flammable material leftovers. Normal waste bags can become electrostatically charged and unintentionally discharged. In combination with the hazardous substances in the waste bag this can cause to a deflagration or even explosion. The waste bags are electrostatically conductive and can dissipate the dangerous charge by simple grounding - the ignition source is removed and the resulting danger is eliminated. The foil is free of silicone.

Explosion protection

The waste bags do not fall under the current directive 2014/34/EU and are "conductive" according to the technical regulation TRGS 727 (issue: January 2016) section 2, item 11.

This means that they meet the requirements of the hazardous areas of Zone 1 and Zone 21 and may be used in these areas.
