Electrical components with a metal body must have a connection point with a cross-section of at least 4 mm² according to standard 60079-0 to connect them to the ground potential. The grounding clamp from Exepd meets these requirements in accordance with EN 60079-0 for grounding and grounding conductors. The requirements for connectors specified in EN 60999-1 are also met. By pressing the clamp into a prepared blind hole, as shown in the figure below, the grounding clamps provide a long-lasting grounding and connecting connection for 1.5 ... 16 mm².
Ground distributor blocks are a combination of several grounding clamps and are used as a central grounding point in machines and systems operating in explosion hazard zones.
