The H.V. resistor series for compact electrical circuit assemblies is manufactured from a precisely blended mixture of clay, aluminum oxide, and carbon. After mixing, the material is pressed into a specific shape and then fired under controlled conditions at high temperatures. This sintering process produces a ceramic, carbon resistor that consists of 100% active material with minimal dimensions.

The H.V. resistors for compact electrical circuit assemblies feature radial leaded contacts with high-quality epoxy resin coating to improve dielectric and mechanical strength.

Naturally non-inductive and capable of withstanding high voltage transient impulses, this series is ideal for charging, discharging, snubber, voltage dividers, and overvoltage protection applications. These typical applications encompass high-power sources, lasers, radars, medical and military equipment.
