Eidos was established in 1974 in Italy and today is a leader in design and production of label printers and marking and automatic printing of industrial products, thus they have been operating on the market for over forty years.

They specialize in developing thermal transfer digital printing, which is a clean, eco-friendly and safe solution for printing variable data in real time - eg. best-before dates, forward or backward number sequences, barcodes, 2D codes, identification codes.

The company owns several important certificates, such as UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 for quality management system design and development, production, installation, assistance.

Eidos has had this certificate since 1999 and maintains highest quality standards to this day. In 2017 they updated the quality management system to UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015, because of having passed the audits performed by the DNV GL ITALIA.

Eidos assortment and services includes: printing on labels, printing on films and printing on objects.

Additionally, the company is aware of the need to protect the natural environment, especially as a big enterprise working in industry, thus in recent years they opened the headquarters in a new plant, aimed to reduce  energy consumption and respecting the environment - using innovations in the areas of geothermal heating and sustainable architecture. This way, they already have saved 46% yearly energy -  the building is heated with heat pumps and provided with ventilation systems; the roof is covered with a hanging garden.
