Tallinn Electrical Engineering Factory “Estel” was established in 1870 and today the company mainly develops, manufactures, and supplies a broad range of power converter equipment and power semiconductors.

The company’s official trademarks are ESTEL, ESTRANS, and TET-ESTEL.

They provide a multidimensional assortment of solutions for a wide range of many different technological applications, including so-called “turnkey” equipment montage and delivery, full equipment maintenance, and other services.

TET ESTEL also owns a testing station (largest in the Baltic States), that is able to perform tests under conditions close to the operating ones, and thus ensures high product reliability.

Their offer consists of, among others, semiconductors, diodes, fast diodes, standard and fast thyristors, thyristor cases.

TET-ESTEL maintains also actions towards the environmental safety of their products and processes of production, based on e.g. European laws and standards. The company continuously tries to reduce atmospheric pollutant emissions, water waste, and production waste.

All products are certified in accordance with international standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 Certifications. To improve the quality of its solutions, the company maintains defects prevention actions, as well as the rejection of defective components before entering the production process, identifying and eliminating errors in the early stages of the production cycle.
