iSOLATE501 ultra-wide band RF Isolator

The iSOLATE501 is an ATEX and IECEx approved RF galvanic isolator for use in Zones 0, 1, 2/22 and mining applications. It is the next generation of Extronics ground breaking technology, designed to improve further on the performance of the industry proven iSOLATE500.

Why the iSOLATE501?
The iSOLATE501 provides galvanic isolation to give protection against dangerous transients. This makes the majority of standard RF outputs intrinsically safe, meaning that you can use most non-certified antennas within hazardous areas, for example the Extronics iANT200 range of high quality and rugged outdoor antennas.

Highly compact design
Thanks to its unique design, the iSOLATE501 is small and lightweight, so it’s a practical solution for a number of different applications

Extended temperature range
Operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C for the most extreme environments. Maximise performance Intrinsically safe, galvanically insolated outputs enable the use of non-certified antennas, such as the Extronics iANT200 range of high quality, rugged, outdoor antennas, for better usability.

Efficient deployment
Majority of antennas can be used with the iSOLATE501 without costly and time- consuming assessment by notified bodies.

Future proof infrastructure
The iSOLATE501 can be used with new wireless hardware as it becomes available, providing ongoing utility and ROI.

Ultra-wide bandwidth
The iSOLATE501’s innovative design gives exceptional performance over an ultra-wide frequency band of 120 MHz to more than 8 GHz
