SC38 Multi-Functional Tuning Fork Level Switch

SC Series Vibrating Level Sensors

The SC series comprises vibrating level sensors with tuning fork probes that utilize piezoelectric crystals and semiconductor electronics to generate vibrations in the tuning fork element at a specific frequency and to receive electronic feedback. When the probe element comes into contact with the target material, the vibrations are dampened, altering the electronic feedback. This change is detected by the electronics, which switch the sensor's output state to indicate the presence of the material. When the probe no longer contacts the target material, the vibrations resume, and the output state reverts to indicating the absence of material.
