The integrated impulse disturbance generator EMC (3 in 1): PCOB-245T1

The PCOB-245T1 generator has been specially designed to simulate conditions occurring during EMC disturbances and in line with electromagnetic compatibility requirements: surge immunity test (SUG), fast transient group impulse immunity test, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) immunity test. The device is used to assess the performance of power cables as well as internal connecting wires in electrical and electronic equipment when subjected to high-energy disturbances caused by transients and natural atmospheric discharges. Measurement results can serve as a starting point for assessing the performance of power ports, signal ports, control ports, and grounding in electrical equipment when subjected to fast transient impulse disturbances (EFT). The measurements also allow for the evaluation of the performance of electrically powered equipment when subjected to electrostatic discharge disturbances directly by operators and adjacent objects.
