We’re offering a wide assortment of industrial sensors and temperature transducers for applications in industrial automation, including various types of thermocouples, temperature transducers, resistance sensors.
Temperature measurement is one of the most important actions in automation - in industrial conditions, the most commonly used are thermocouples and resistance temperature sensors.
Thermocouples - application
Thermocouples, also called thermoelectric temperature sensors, are one of the most popular solutions in the industry. Their main applications include laboratories, transportation, measuring-control apparatus, data systems, multi-channel devices, thermovision systems, and military equipment.
Applications of temperature sensors:
- temperature measurement of cooling factors and hydraulic oils.
- recording and regulating furnaces, central heating devices.
- in passive buildings, households, air conditioning systems, laboratories, food industry, and agriculture.
Why should you use temperature transducers?
The temperature transducer is one of the most important elements in automation systems - they enable changing physical properties into measuring signals, which allows a control system to interpret the measurement’s values.
Applying temperature transducers in automation provides:
- Amplifying the signal from the temperature sensor, its linearization and changing into a voltage or current signal - this provides increased resilience to electromagnetic disruptions and galvanic separation between the thermocouple’s circuit and input signal;
- Replacing compensation cables with a typical transmission cable;
- Cold junction compensation (CJC) if using thermoelectric sensors;
- Modern digital transducers are smart, flexible devices and offer precise measurements;
- Possibility to check current or previous temperature.
