Advantages of using load monitors according to the sensors applications:TELE’s load monitors take over the precise and reliable monitoring of the load status and, in the event of the undercutting or exceedance of limit values, either fault indications or execute remedial measures by means or controlling switching processes. This increases the availability as well as the safety of system. Service work is reduced and production downtimes can be prevented. Depending on the application it is possible to choose from multiple current or voltage ranges. Tripping and response times as well as switching thresholds can be set separately. Thermistor monitoring, current drop out monitoring error memory, relay outputs and analog outputs are also optionally available. This facilitates the reporting of faults and abnormal statuses, the logging of measurement data and the initiation of further controlling functions.
Typical applications:
- No problem due to contamination and any decalibration of the sensors
- No maintenance and cleaning costs
- Easy to use, even in charged air or volatile substances
- Saving in terms of cabling
- No use of explosion-proof barriers necessary
- Reduction in error sources
- Simple retrofitting
- Trash compactors
- Crushers
- Mixers
- Conveyor belts
- Ventilation systems
- Machine tools
- Bridge and portal cranes
- Centrifugal and piston pumps

Function description:
Overload monitoring (O) | |
---|---|
If the measuring value exceeds the level set on the MAX trigger, relay switch into OFF position. Return to ON position come immediately after the measuring value drops below the MAX level. | |
Underload monitoring (U) | |
If the measuring value drops below the level set on the MIN trigger, relay switch into OFF position. Return to ON position come immediately after the measuring value exceeds the MIN level. | |
Window (W) | |
If the measuring value drops below the level set on the MIN trigger, one of relays switch into OFF position. Return to ON position come immediately after the measuring value exceeds the MIN level. If the measuring value exceeds the level set on the MAX trigger the work cycle is analogical but the second relay is switched. | |
Fault latch (+LATCH) | |
If the error is detected and one of relays is switched into OFF position, they could return into ON position only in case of device reset. It could be done by supply disconnection, button pushing, or Y1 – Y2 disconnection. | |
Recognition of disconnected consumer (I=0) | |
If the current flown cease, the device will detect it and switch relays into chosen by user positions. | |
Temperature monitoring (TEMP) | |
Through the thermistors resistance monitoring, the device controls machine’s winding temperature. If temperature exceeds admissible value, the device will switch both relays into OFF position. |
