Air module


Description of the air module

In order to ensure an appropriate air resistance, AMC slots must be filled with empty cards. It should be chosen to the requirements of a specific layout, hence it is difficult to indicate one typical solution. Regardless of the performance, it should be high enough to force the air flow between individual PCBs / PCB cards and filled slots, instead of leaving or flowing through empty slots. In this context, the air partitions are used to set the correct level of air resistance. On one filler plate, up to 2 discs of air partitions can be mounted. The replaceable membranes allow you to regulate the resistance level in the range of 50 - 80%.

The boards are used as fronts for AMC and ATCA cards or as blanking panels in MICTROTCA systems.

Description of AMC filling sheets

Filling plates are provided for mounting on AMC front panels and are tended to target the air stream in ATCA carriers and MICTROTCA systems. In addition, they can be equipped with aircraft divisions intended to create a suitable resistance in an empty slot. Material: epoxy composite material.

PM power module


Description of the PM power module

PM power module is a representative of the Microtca PowerModule family performed in Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) technology with 350W and compatible with the MTCA.0 standard. This applies to both single and full-size performances. The power module works with the EMMC controller (Enhanced Module Management Controller) that communicates with Carrier Manager via the IPMB (Intelligent Platform Management Bus) platform.


Technical characteristics of the PM power module

  • MICROTCA CARRIER HUB (MCH) ADVANCEDMC and cooling unit
  • Works through IPMI from Microtca Carrier Hub (MCH)
  • Power Monitoring of Each Channel - power level monitoring for each channel
