What is Modbus?

Modbus is a communication protocol. Used for communication with controllers and allows for controlling devices responsible for various parameters, such as temperature and humidity control systems. Modbus is a protocol type Client-Server. Initially, this protocol worked through RS-232 port, but, with the improvement of the protocol, an RS-485 was used to increase the pace of transmission.
