Diode, diode-tyristor and thyristor modular blocks consist of semiconductor elements in lozenge housings mounted in a suitable heat sink assembly suitable for forced air or water cooling.
Due to the applied semiconductor device layout, modules with the following connections are offered:
The basic factor affecting the quality and durability of modular blocks is their proper assembly and the use of electrically suitable diodes and thyristors. In case of series or parallel connection, the appropriate selection of installed devices is required. Requirements can be fulfilled best by module block manufacturer.
