STARCODE is a program for centrally controlling Eidos printers. It manages the central archive, monitors step-by-step the current batches and production. The central archive can consist of a set of individual pages or a database (such as Db IV or Access) as well as format pages. The STARCODE program periodically checks all printers to examine the number of prints made, i.e., the produced items, and displays on the screen a time-variable graph with cut-offs and hourly production of orders.



Wireless Communication

The latest generation of printers (with graphical display and USB memory instead of a floppy disk) communicate with the EASYCODE or STARCODE programs installed on a PC using wireless technology, without the need for additional cables connecting the printer to the computer.
