Vector Bode 100 circuits analyzer

Bode 100 is a multifunctional, professional control and measurement instrument that performs the following functions:

  • frequency response analyzer,
  • impedance meter,
  • complex gain meter,
  • sinusoidal wave generator.

This is a portable, compact, and easy-to-use device, controlled by computer software, which allows for efficient and flexible use in various types of measurements, including:

  • complex gain,
  • complex impedance,
  • reflection coefficient,
  • attenuation coefficient,
  • delay characteristic of the tested device,
  • impedance in the frequency domain,
  • load influence on amplifiers and filters,
  • antenna tuning,
  • measurement of S-parameters of electronic circuits,
  • measurements of ultrasonic and piezoelectric systems.

Vector network analyzers are widely used wherever real-time tuning of systems is necessary. Therefore, they are an excellent tool in every electronic laboratory.

Example Applications

  • battery impedance measurements,
  • photovoltaic cell impedance measurements,
  • resistance measurements for small resistors,
  • reflection coefficient and impedance measurements for shortwave and longwave antennas,
  • testing the stability of control systems (e.g., DC/DC converters in power supplies),
  • measuring equivalent series resistance (ESR) of capacitors,
  • detecting shorts and defects in wires (breaks in conductors and shields, shielding quality, dielectric constant),
  • DSL cable measurements (attenuation, impedance, phase delay),
  • detecting faults in flat transformer windings on PCB boards,
  • testing RFID radio systems (antenna tuning, range assessment),
  • analysis of small signal transformers (in telecommunications, transmission industry),
  • audio component testing.

The kit includes

  • Bode 100 Vector Network Analyzer,
  • Bode Analyzer Suite (CD),
  • User manual (English),
  • Power supply,
  • USB cable,
  • 4 x 50 Ω BNC cable (m – m),
  • 1 x BNC (f – f – f) T-connector,
  • 1 x BNC (f – f) extension,
  • 1 x 50 Ω BNC (m) resistor,
  • 1 x BNC (m) shorting jumper,
  • Test device: quartz filter and IF filter on PCB.

In combination with the Bode 100 Vector Network Analyzer, the impedance adapters B-WIC and B-SMC are the ideal choice for measuring passive and active electronic circuit impedances. B-WIC is specially designed for wire elements, while B-SMC is the perfect adapter for all popular surface-mount passive devices.

The broadband transformer B-WIT 100 is an ideal choice for applying signals to a wide range of circuits, such as feedback loops or power supplies. Together with the Bode 100, the B-WIT 100 transformer facilitates the evaluation of the stability of controlling electronic circuits.

With the differential probe, Bode 100 can be connected to voltages up to 600V. The probe's measurement input is floating, which avoids grounding issues and allows for measuring circuits where the input and output do not share a common ground point.
