DVM series voltage transducers

HV and MV Voltage transducers series DVM

The DMV is HV and MV voltage transducers series for industrial and traction measurements applications

Main characteristics:

  • Compact design
  • A unique design to cover all measuring ranges
  • Voltage measurement 600…4200VRMS
  • High level of insulation test voltage 12kVRMS/50Hz/1min
  • High level of RMS voltage (5kV) for partial discharges extinction at 10pC
  • Excellent overall accuracy: ±0.5% for 25°C, ±1% over the operating temperature range
  • High bandwidth (short response time): 13kHz (-3dB, 50μs)
  • DC, AC and pulse voltage measurements with galvanic isolation
  •  Power supply ±10.8….26.4V
  • Operating temperatures range -40…85°C
  • Flexibility with modular connections for secondary sides (connectors, inlets, terminals)
  • Output signal ±50mA, 4-20mA or ±10V

Standard compliance:

  • EN 50155: 2007 for traction applications such as
    • Main and auxiliary converters
    • Circuit breaker
    • Substations
    • Battery chargers
    • Propulsion and breaking chopper
    • But also industrial applications
  • European directive EMC 2014/30/EU – CE marking
  • UL94-VO (recognized materials)
  • EN50121-3-2:2015: Railway EMC standards
  • EN 50124-1: 2001: Insulation and safety
  • EN 61010-1: 2010: Safety
  • For industrial applications
    • EN 61800-1: 1997: DC Power Drive Systems: General
    • EN 61800-2: 2015: AC Power Drive Systems: General
    • EN 61800-3: 2004: Power Drive Systems: EMC
    • EN 61800-5-1: 2007: Power Drive Systems: Safety
    • IEC62109-1:2010: Safety of Power Converters (PV)
  • Developed [&] produced according to IRIS standards

Remarks:

  • Innovative patented insulating digital technology
  • Very low sensitivity to common mode voltage variations
  • 54% lighter
  • Unmatched immunity to electromagnetic disturbances
  • Almost insensitive to magnetic fields
  • Fit form and function compatible with previous generations of transducers (LV 100)
