Encoders are also called movement control sensors - their usage in the industry allows e.g. precise identifying machine elements, rotation angle, acceleration, movement direction, and speed. Encoders can be divided into: linear and rotary. Incremental encoders include an arbor with a code shield, two bearings, which are in max distance from each other, scanning system, an electronic system, which forms an output signal.
