The FG series consists of magnetic float level transmitters that use the principles of buoyancy and magnetism to generate a changing electrical signal in response to the float rising and falling on the guide rod. The magnetic float level transmitter provides a 3-wire resistive output or can be equipped with an appropriate level transmitter to provide a 4-20 mA analog signal indicating the liquid level. The sensor guide rod contains a series of reed switches along the entire measuring length. The arrangement of the reed switches provides one of two possible measurement resolutions.
