GIMAX

GIMAX was founded in Italy in August 1990, starting with the production of electronic ballasts for fluorescent lamps.

In 1991, the first product range to introduce tubular lamps for stationary and portable use in industrial environments such as shipyards, construction sites, railroad maintenance, temporary plants, etc.

Shockproof polycarbonate and butyl rubber have been selected as the basic components for the production of lamp lighting products and power distribution units.

The physical properties of these materials, suitable for intensive use in harsh environments, have been greatly appreciated by customers for their reliability, safety and quality.

In 1993, the GIMAX company started the production of distribution units in hard butyl rubber casings manufactured using their own molds.

The GIMAX sales network consists of people with technical support who visit customers, providing tailor-made solutions, according to their needs.

The specificity of GIMAX is the production on demand according to the specifications given by customers in order to best meet their needs. In addition, the presence of an end-user sales force has been steadily improving product quality, helping to increase the company's turnover over the years.

GIMAX recently moved its business to a new headquarters in Pietrasanta with over 200 m ² offices and 2,000 m ² production and warehouse department. In the scope of the quality management system, the company is certified by TÜV ITALIA for compliance with the standards "UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015" and "UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015" in the field of environmental protection.
