Spark detection

The proper working of an active explosion safety system depends to a great extent on timely detection.

StuvEx currently has the following detectors in its product range:

  • PDS: static pressure detector

  • PDP: combined detector Pstat, ROR (Rate-of -Rise), IR (flame)

  • IR: Infrared flame detection

  • UV:   flame detection

  • PSD:  spark detection

PSD3-D infrared detectors are the ideal tool to detect sources of heat, such as sparks, glowing particles and flames. This detector is used in combination with the Pagg CO² extinguishing system.

  • Detector front end approved for use in zone 20

  • Field of view: > 95°

  • Free contact for process interlock

  • Easy to install

  • Status LEDs for health, fault and activation

  • ATEX certified
