Audit tester of DK OLD and DK 2000 circuit breakers


The tester is designed to perform full and shortened tests of residual current circuit breakers type DK OLD and DK2000 according to PN-IEC 1009-1 standard. The tester can be used to check operation of two-, three- and four-pole circuit breakers with residual current tripping up to 1A inclusive.

Tests are performed by the tester fully automatically, i.e. they start with fastening the tested set on the mounting rail: residual current circuit breaker - auxiliary circuit breaker and closing the protective cover, and end with opening the cover and removing the tested set. The tester automatically reads the barcode, places the set in the appropriate test socket, selects the test parameters and performs the tests, and then labels the barcode if the result of all tests is OK. or the error code if at least one test result is NOK.



Full testing (audit test) of circuit breakers includes:

  • button test;
  • sinusoidal voltage test 2.5 kV/60 s;
  • voltage surge test 1.2/50 µs, 6 kV;
  • voltage surge test 1.2/50 µs, 8 kV;
  • measurement of triggering residual current;
  • trigger time measurement;
  • measuring the resistance of a resistor;

Shortened testing includes only samples selected by the operator

The tester's construction consists of aluminium profiles, a working top with an extension containing the tester's executive elements and a control cabinet. The extension contains a loading station and three test sockets adapted to test circuit breakers DK OLD and DK2000 with different number of current circuits. A lifting protective cover is installed in the extension unit to protect the loading station. Under the table there is installed a printer with linear applicator for printing on labels in the form of bar code or error number and sticking them on the side wall of the tested circuit breaker. A pull-out drawer with a keyboard and mouse is installed under the worktop. The monitor is mounted on an extension arm that allows adjustment of its position in three planes.
