SB08 – Ring Core Brushing Current Transformer

The SB08 bushing type current transformers can be used for variety of measuring, revenue metering and protection tasks. The current transformer SB08 is suitable to put around high-voltage bushings in encapsulated switchgear or in power transformers. The SB08 is meant to be mounted under transformer oil (up to 105°C) or in air, nitrogen or SF6-gas. Current transformer may be equipped with a „flux compensation Winding”. This additional feature prevents the measurement being influenced by external magnetic field causes by –for example- high currents in adjacent phases. The transformer can be ordered independently or as a part of a subassembly. Please check Subassembly brochure for more information.
