SC Series Vibrating Level Sensors
The SC series consists of vibrating level sensors with tuning fork probes that utilize piezoelectric crystals and semiconductor electronics to generate vibrations in the tuning fork element at a specific frequency and receive electronic feedback. When the probe element contacts the target material, the vibrations are dampened, altering the electronic feedback. This change is detected by the electronics, which switch the sensor's output state to indicate the presence of the material. When the probe is no longer in contact with the target material, the vibrations resume, and the output state reverts to indicating the absence of material.
