Impulsiniai - rotaciniai keitikliai (ENKODERIAI)

There are two types of encoders - incremental and absolute - they both operate differently.

Incremental encoder
- There are non transparent code bars on transparent rotor disk.
Because of disk turn there is a 0-1 light signal(light - dark), which is converted into a constant digital signal.
Measurement value is obtained by impulse adding in external electronic device. Maximum code bar quantity is 5000 and corresponding resolution is 360°/5000 this is. 4,3’.

Absolute encoder
- There is a digital code(usually Gray code) on the rotor disk.
Encoder resolution for 1 turn is 10, 12 lub 13 bits - disk therefore has 10, 12 or 13 circles with transparent and non transparent intervals, which are source of 0-1 signal (light - dark).
