Alumina thin film substrates

This zirconia cured alumina substrate material shows very good results after laser scribing and breaking, and even after cutting with a wavy saw. ATS has been specially developed for thin film applications. ATS can be easily cut or shaped with a laser or a wavy saw. Due to its intrinsic mechanical strength and being finely grained, the material chipped much less at the machining edges during the manufacturing process compared to other materials. Due to the very fine ATS grains, very fine Pt structures are possible.
