New plug-and-play drivers are compatible with 130x140 mm IGBT high-power (IHM) modules deriving from all major manufacturers

Each device contains:

• 1SP0630V2M1R main driver
• 1SP0635D2S1R peripheral driver
• ISO6125R-33 power supply

The 1SP063xxxx1R gate drivers  fit the footprint of smaller formats of single-channel IGBT modules with current output 1200-1400 A and 3300 V IGBT blocking voltage.  Well integrated solution is especially useful in systems achieving additional power with parallel-connected modules, granting simplicity and flexibility in electrical and mechanical design.

1SP063xxxx1R devices are suitable for IHM modules from all major manufacturers such as ABB, Hitachi, Infineon and Mitsubishi. Each new part contains conformal coating and can be verified with burn-in tests on request. Enhanced connectors provide increased interconnection security and facilitate fast release without tooling.

The SCALE-2 gate drivers meet following international standards:

• IEC 61373 specifications for shock and vibration
• IEC 60068-2-xx environmental requirements
• EMC qualification according to EN 50121-3-2 and IEC 6100-4-x

SCALE-2 technology uses ASIC chipset for component count  and size reduction with better performance, scalaibility and reliability. Gate drivers include protection features such as Dynamic Advanced Active Clamping, short-circuit and under-voltage lock-out.
