INTERLOCK-KAR – non-contact safety lock

The INTERLOCK KAR® product has been designed for the safety interlocking for the protection of robot enclosures, palletizers / depalletizers and all other dangerous machines with entry of operators into a dangerous zone or a dead zone.

The INTERLOCK KAR® product allows access control with a very powerful locking. It provides more control security thanks to:

• the ACOTOM® process: coded detection of the bolt in the keeper. This system is sufficient to meet the standard for locking / interlocking devices ISO 14119.
• the AXKEF® system (RFID): recognition of the keeper. This is an option if pairing of the door strike is required. When commissioning for the first time, the code is automatically downloaded into the system. RFID coding offers more than 16 million possibilities. This makes the waste unique and fraud becomes impossible by substituting another waste.

The INTERLOCK KAR® interlocking system uses a bolt detection device using the ACOTOM® technological process. This guarantees a contactless link with type 4 coding according to ISO 14119. Unlike technological solutions with reed bulbs, the ACOTOM® process cannot be

defrauded by a "horseshoe" magnet. The safety function is fully integrated without having to use an external safety sensor. This fully electronic process is very robust and insensitive to magnetic fields.
