Frer was founded in 1980 in Milano, Italy, and specializes in high quality and reliable electrical meters and accessories for distribution switchgear-switchboards. In 1992 FRER acquired the Meters Division - historical Italian Company C.G.S in Monza.

The company operates around the whole Europe, but also in North Africa, West and Central Asia and the Middle East. 

Over 30 years of experience on the market enabled them to extend their offer and today they provide such solutions and products like: electrical measurements (shunts, probes, meters, transformers), network parameter analyzers network analyzers, 3-phase, multifunction network analyzers for DC systems, earth leakage relays and sensors, current & voltage selector switches, split-core current transformers, programmable universal transducers. They additionally manufacture and deliver: interface transducers and software, meters with alarms, digital meters,energy meters, analog meters, residual direct current monitoring modules (rdc-m - modules), insulators and busbar holders, and many extra accessories.
