Starpower

Starpower is a Chinese globally leading company that specializes in the design and manufacture of  FRD, IPM, SiC MOSFET, IGBT, diodes, rectifier modules, as well as various customized modules (e.g. in Silicon Carbide-SiC technology) for a wide range of applications in fields such as: EV, solar and wind power, welding machines, inverters and inductive heating.

The enterprise owns several sales and production departments around the world, including StarPower Semiconductor Ltd. department that was established in China in 2005 and specializes in power modules, such as the IGBT/MOSFET/IPM/FRD/Rectifier modules and other customized modules for applications of inverters, welding machines, inductive heating, UPS, EV, and solar/wind power. Another department is StarPower Europe AG that is headquartered in Switzerland and was established in 2014 as a European supplier of power electronics.

StarPower Europe AG Company also owns a European R&D Centre in Germany that was founded to operate as a center for research and testing of new technologies, packages and materials for power semiconductors.

Starpower enterprise works in compliance with many internationally recognized directives; including RoHS regulation that decreases the allowed limit of hazardous substances in the electronic and electric devices (EEE) sold in the European Union. They also received UL certification that is issued by the Underwriter Laboratories for products and services that comply with strict industrial safety regulations. Starpower additionally is the owner of ISO 9001 certificate for quality management systems, as well as ISO 14001 for their environmental systems, due to their environmentally-friendly production processes.
